Thank you Sir. I want to know what is the difference between marketing and sales
Marketing is a broad area in which sales is a sub domain. Marketing involves activities related to promoting the product till selling the product. But sales is just about selling the product. Marketing involves Planning, Advertising, Pricing etc, it is more strategic and analytical.

It depends on what specialization you are going to take and in which Business School you are enrolling in. Most Marketing specialized students will get into sales jobs in their intial days, but it mayn't be true in some cases. If somebody is not willing to do Sales they can get into other rules..
