Is avionics engineering possible in India?

Dear sir, I have written my 12th examin march and waiting for results. I have heard about avionics engineering and like to know it's scope in India. plz suggest me the collages in Tamil nadu that have this avionics engineering  or aero space enginerring?

There  is lot of opportunities in aerospace engineering in India like other countries.In India you have lot of opportunties in ISRO, HAL, NAL,DRDO.
